*The Healing of Suffering was delivered in the heights of the Andean Mountains by Silo in Argentina on May 4, 1969 in spite of the dictatorship that tried to suppress it. 48 years later, it is even more relevant. It is Silo’s first public expression of his ideas. In poetic language, he explains that the most important knowledge for living (“true wisdom”) is not the same as the knowledge found in books but is a question of inner experience. The most important knowledge for living is related to comprehending suffering and how to surpass it. The talk went on to inspire millions of people over the years and launched a worldwide movement to Humanize the Earth and build communities of Silo’s Message.
Food: Snacks and refreshments will be served at noon and a vegetarian friendly BBQ will be held at the end of the day.
Donation: $25 to cover the food (light lunch, refreshments and BBQ) and park usage.
